One of the most enduring funk acts from back in the day, Mandrill continues to inspire as well as entertain. Their musical message has remained clear for nearly 30 years. Devoted to the preservation of our rain forests and the plight of the endangered West African Baboon (Mandrill), the group has long been considered the "Champions of World Peace.
The group has played important roles in many TV and film projects and have performed for sold out audiences at Carnegie Hall, The Apollo Theater, Madison Square Garden and throught the world. They have worked with such legends as James Brown, Herbie hancock and Earth, Wind and Fire. Their tracks are being sampled by new artists like Kanye West, Floetry, and Wyclef.
